Weekly Update

This week I have been getting really excited about going to see Room 94 on Wednesday for their free Christmas show and as far as I understand there are still tickets available so if you haven't booked any yet make sure you do it now. A big congratulations is needed to Harry from McFly who won Strictly com dancing, its been a big year for McFly and TV reality shows but its been good for them a bit of a profile boost which they will need. Its not long until their UK tour next year so that works as a bit of added promotion for them. It's getting very close to Christmas now, but I'm not sure what I think of this Micheal Buble's Christmas song, I think he's tried too hard with it. The best Christmas songs were made in the 60s and unless people are going to make them like that then they will never be able to compete with the originals. It's from now that the competition for UK Christmas number one begins, I will never understand why its so big to be number 1 at Christmas surely its good enough to be number 1 whenever. Surely new years Christmas number 1 is even better because its more of a bigger deal that they are the song that will start the new year and was top for that period of time....who knows.

This weeks chart goes like this, in third place is Dance with me tonight by the wonderful Olly Murs in second is Paradise by Coldplay and of course in true X Factor tradition this weeks number one is Cannonball by Little Mix.
