Marty is probably best known from being in Just Me Again but since the band broke up music hasn't left his life and he is pursuing a career as a solo artist. Marty is based in London, UK. Musically Marty and his band seem to gel really well and their songs are of a really high standard making them that much more relatable to people. Marty has such a strong fan base but he has always seemed like a humble and down to earth guy which is why people like him so much.

This is his cover of Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls, and if anyone knows me then they will know how much I love this song. So for me to say that it is a song that makes me melt and even more so because of Marty's cover it clearly means something. Marty has an amazing voice and is on the right track to greatness this year. I think I like this video also because it is a simple concept which means that all attention is bought back to Marty's vocals which is what a music video should do.
