Our Day Remains

I started this blog post on the very first day I got my blog but for some reason it never got completed but as the phrase goes it's better late than never. Our Day Remains are a four piece alternative Rock group from Bolton. I've spoken to a couple of the guys in this band and they are honestly some of the loveliest people around, it's really nice to be able to just have a normal chat with them. I am yet to see them perform live but they are on the list of bands that I want to try to see sometime this year. This band is really on a journey to great things and they have already achieved so much as a band that they only have higher places to reach.

You can:
- facebook them www.facebook.com/ourdayremains
- visit their website www.ourdayremains.com
- tweet them www.twitter.com/ourdayremains
- watch them www.youtube.com/ourdayremains

This is their latest music video for "Take This Night". It's has been filmed in a really effective manner and the guys seem to have been really lucky with their location because it makes an awesome music video location. Being slightly drummer obsessed, I feel that it is needed to point out how brilliant Johnny is of a drummer and yet he still manages to put in some fluent tricks into his drumming. Most importantly onto the song, having just listened to it about 20 times whilst writing this post it honestly means that I can say that it doesn't get boring after repetitive plays. I really like the gentle start to the song as the way it builds up to the first entrance of the chorus and especially as the scene in video lacks colour it allows the audience to focus on the music further and this band are all very talented individuals so it's a good chance for them to showcase their musical talents.
