Pharaohs formed in December 2008 in Tunbridge Wells, Kent and they progressed as a group as they wanted to create a "catchy sound". The Pharaohs perform a pop rock styled music which is very catch and their music just gets inside of you. They released their debut album in 2009 and they were then signed by All Aboard Records where they released their singled "Squashed Against My Wall" following this their EP "We've Tried Nothing and We're All Out Of Ideas" was released in November 2009 in the UK and then in December 2009 to the rest of Europe.
I think the Pharaohs are one of those bands that you have to know about because they are simply amazing. They have that type of enjoyable music which goes direct to young people.
