This is just a record of all the tours that I know are going on in March and April - I am sure there are loads more and there is even stuff going on in May but I've tried to keep it all focused on these two months. I've put in everything that I can think of so hopefully one of them will appeal to you. I've just put the posters below as there are too many to write about but they are featured in no particular order.
That is just a few of them that are going on, I am sure there are so many more but these are the ones that I keep noticing everywhere. Is anyone going to any?
Week Commencing: Monday 20th February 2012 Quick 2 minutes
This week Taking Hayley got through to the next round of the Red Bull Bedroom Jam so make sure you check out their bedroom jam tomorrow at 5pm. And they are also on the stop drop rock tour this April so if you want to see them live then make sure you get down to that. I know I'll be checking out the London show. The other tour I'm going to be seeing is the Loud Noises tour from Room 94 so don't forget to go down and check that out if you get a chance. Especially as they released their new lyric video this week for their latest song "You Got It Wrong", it's a really great song and can now be bought from iTunes. So make sure you go and grab that if you haven't already got it. I can tell you that it's already featured in my top played songs. The other tour this side of Easter (well there are loads actually) is the Just Me Again tour, it looks like it should be really good although I currently don't have any plans to go, so if you do go let me know how it went.
I can tell you that there is a lot to be expected from A Day Overdue this year, I've heard a couple of their plans and I can assure you that they are going to be big so make sure you keep an eye out for them.
Beyond Recall are going to be supporting Attack Attack at their Bristol show, from what I can gather the Beyond Recall guys are extremely happy about this. It's going to be such a good experience for them and they'll get to play to share their music to a whole new group of people. The Natives have released a sneaky peek at some of their new material. It's a really good song called "Big Plan" so I can't wait to hear a bit more from them in the near future. Out of interest are there any bands that anybody would like to see come together for a tour? What would be your dreamtouring bands?
UK Chart This weeks number three is DJ Fresh with Hot Right Now, number two is Emeli Sande with Next to Me and this weeks UK number one is Somebody That I Used To Know by Gotye.
The Just Me Again April tour is looking amazing, although I don't know their support acts that well but from what I do know of them is that people are in for a treat. I am unfortunately not going to this tour due to going to a different one the night before and I decided that two nights out in London in a row would probably be a bit much and a bit too expensive but it is a shame that I am missing this one because it looks like it'll be amazing. If anyone goes then let me know about it, it'd be great to hear how it went.
Just Me Again are a 3 piece pop punk/ pop rock band from Ruslip in London, UK. The band consits of three boys who are Elyar Fox, Marty Jackson and Julian Baxter. There are rumours going around between critics saying that these boys are going to be the next best thing, they put on an amazing show full of so much energy which shows their love of music. Just Me Again are fortunate enough to have a large fan base which has allowed them to reach such heights even though they haven't been around long.
I wish I had seen them perform live but I unfortunately haven't, but they are certainly a group that are going on my list of people that I want to see. Although they have only been together for a year they have performed at some amazing venues such as the o2 arena, along with many o2 academies and have performed a number of headlining shows. Just Me Again have also supported a number of different great artists some of these are You Me At Six, Tinchy Stryder, Lloyd Daniels, The Saturdays, The Wanted, Joe McElderry, Twenty Twenty, Stacey Soloman, Ironic, Eliza Doolittle and so many more. This is a video of Just Me Again performing live at the o2 arena with their song Melting.
Just to say that make sure you vote for your favourite band at http://supercity.mcfly.com/battleofthebands it's so that the winning band will be able to support McFly on their tour. It's an amazing opportunity for the band. I'm not going to tell you who to vote for but I shall say that Just Me Again, FYI, Hill Valley High, Room 94, I Divide and so many other amazing bands which I may have mentioned before or may not have. Just support which ever band you like the most.
