I think it's in the spirit of a true teenage girl craze that I have started to like this band. I have to admit that I wasn't one of the original fans of TW and only began to like them once they had a fairly established career. The boys have currently had two UK number ones, the first one "All Time Low" and the second "Glad you came". The reason I think these boys will continue to shine is because of their down to earth attitude towards their music but also the quality songs which they are delivering. It is something which anyone can enjoy and eventually dance along to.
I have recently found out that like any establishing band TW carried out school tours and visited a school very close to me in their early days as a boy band. It seems amazing to see how much the group have established and how huge the fan base has grown for these boys which has allowed them to succeed even further in their career.

I have to admit that I have been one of the lucky few to have seen The Wanted live and it was even better than I could have thought it would have been. I saw them at Live at the Castle which takes place at Leeds Castle. It is a day event and unfortunately in true English style the weather didn't exactly stay as good as everyone had hoped it would. (It chucked it down all morning). But that didn't seem to crush any ones spirits but made everyone more keen to outstand the weather to see their favourite artists. The Wanted were joined by Eliza Doolittle, Alexandra Burke, Aggro Santos and Stacey Solomon being the other main headline names.
Another thing which made the even more wonderful was that on that very day TW had achieved number 1 with "Glad you came" which meant that spirits were a little bit higher and some champagne was present during the evening. The boys put on an excellent show and were totally outstanding; me and my group of friends had a truly wonderful time. The Wanted seemed very open and just like normal people by the way they would have a chat with the audience and play tricks on each other on stage. There was even a heartbreaking moment when the boys selected girls from the audience to sing too. Max appeared to have picked the smallest and sweetest girl possible so much that the whole crowd aww'd at them.
Seeing as I have seen them live I thought I would leave you with a video which I recorded myself. Although they do seem a bit like peas on the stage we really weren't that far away from them. But you know how it is on camera everything seems a lot further away than it really is. Although a video is never as good as the real thing I hope that you can enjoy them at least a little bit.
