MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!

I'm afraid it'll be a short one due to it being Christmas and all. I hope you are all having a great Christmas though. I got a The Wanted 2012  calendar for Christmas, its very exciting although may have preferred a room 94, twenty twenty twenty or under the influence one but I mustn't moan because this one is really nice.

Basically its the Christmas chart that you're interested in. This years Christmas chart, I wanted to start with fourth place to give the lovely Alex Day a mention with forever yours as that is the place he has managed to get too. He should be very proud of that. Third is none other than Dominic the donkey by Lou Monte, second in the charts is Cannonball by Little Mix and this years UK number one is Wherever you are by the Military Wives with Garth Malone.

Weekly Update

Week Commencing: 12th December 2011

This week I have been getting really excited about going to see Room 94 on Wednesday for their free Christmas show and as far as I understand there are still tickets available so if you haven't booked any yet make sure you do it now. A big congratulations is needed to Harry from McFly who won Strictly com dancing, its been a big year for McFly and TV reality shows but its been good for them a bit of a profile boost which they will need. Its not long until their UK tour next year so that works as a bit of added promotion for them. It's getting very close to Christmas now, but I'm not sure what I think of this Micheal Buble's Christmas song, I think he's tried too hard with it. The best Christmas songs were made in the 60s and unless people are going to make them like that then they will never be able to compete with the originals. It's from now that the competition for UK Christmas number one begins, I will never understand why its so big to be number 1 at Christmas surely its good enough to be number 1 whenever. Surely new years Christmas number 1 is even better because its more of a bigger deal that they are the song that will start the new year and was top for that period of time....who knows.

It is getting close to that Christmas stage where everyone gets jolly and spends way too much money. Also it was the final of the X Factor this weekend and it was wonderful to see that Little Mix won. Although the X Factor winner never seems to do as well as the runner up but hopefully Little Mix can change that too.

This weeks number three is Dedication to my Ex by Lloyd, second is the X Factor Finalists with their charity single Wishing on a Star and this weeks UK number 1 I am proud to say is Dance with me Tonight by Olly Murs.
